Emily has been playing the violin and viola for 30 years, and teaching for more than half that time. She was a Suzuki kid and loved the method so much she decided to become a Suzuki certified instructor. Music has shaped Emily in a major ways! She has toured Europe twice, playing violin and viola. She attended Berklee College of Music where she gained a love of jazz and other music. While classical music is her favorite, she has played in an award winning folk rock band, fiddled with country artists, and has performed in jazz and hip hop groups. Emily is passionate about music and one of her greatest joys is sharing that passion with others!
